Is facebook really something that is that good? I mean yes it does connect us to those around us but the thing that I have really been struggling with is it really worth putting yourself out there? Is it worth posting your life on a website that anyone and everyone can connect to? I love knowing what's going on in peoples lives, but when we make it a priority then what are we really getting out of it but gossip and silly rumors...? It's interesting to me that society needs these types of things, they crave the ideas of posting themselves. I find it funny that the only way to really get famous before these social networks was to be on television but now people are able to broadcast themselves on places like YOU tube and what not. People get famous from places like these. That's great and all but that makes me think again about Tiger woods, that takes people's privacy away. And they are doing that to themselves, is it worth it? Is it worth giving up your own rights? I guess that is something for us people to think about... Weird.
